Family and friends,
Apologize for the delay in reports everyone; it's been a very busy week. Below are notes by day that I jotted down each day upon speaking with the nurse staff for the 31st on through 2/6/10 along with some photos taken by my family:
2-1-10:
Jacob - 4 brady episodes, 4 wet diapers, 1 stool, 6% CPAP 21% Room Air, still on caffeine, 4 CC's milk, on face mask CPAP, pic line put in evening (direct line through vein in the arm running thin line next to heart for better distribution of IV fluids) only 1 residual (very small), 1 lb. 9 oz.
Jordan - 2 stools, 2 wet diapers, still on caffeine, face mask CPAP, 4 CC's milk, 5 % CPAP 21% Room Air, 1 lb. 12 oz.

- Sheri and I married on August 8, 2008. After a year, we decided to expand our family by getting pregnant via in-vitro. Our twins were expected to be delivered on April 8, 2010, but due to blood flow difficulties, they had to be taken by emergency C-section on January 21, 2010. Since that time, our lives have been Sheri spending most of her time at Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital in the medical center, while I continue to work and stay with Sheri and the kids at the hospital when I can. This blog is to catalog our journey from the twins birth, home, and beyond.
