Meet the Cordova Twins

The Cordova Twins:

Jordan (pronounced JOR-den, in Biblical & English derived from (yarad) meaning "descend" or "flow down". It is also the name of the river which flows between the countries of Jordan and Israel where Jesus Christ was baptized by John the Baptist).

Jacob (pronounced JAY-kep, in English and Biblical means "holder of the heel" or "supplanter", and (Ya'aqov'el) meaning "may God protect". In the Old Testament, Jacob (later called Israel) was the son of Isaac and Rebecca and the father of the twelve founders of the twelve tribes of Israel. He was born holding his twin brother Esau's heel)

Jacob & Jordan Update 3-23-10

Family, Friends, Prayer Warriors,

This is ABC's (All Baby Cordova) news anchor, Proud Papa, reporting the nightly stats on the Cordova twins:


Jordan's official report:
4 lbs. 2 oz
25% FIO2, with 1.5 Liter flow nasal cannula
36 CC's fortified milk (up another 3 CC's...yeaaaaah!, milk does a body good... pass it on!)
1 dirty diaper
6 wet diapers
0 brady episodes
1 desat
1.6 CC residuals
daily dose Lasix diuretics
4 times a day of Potassium


Jacob's official report for the day is:
3 lbs. 8 oz. (almost to 4, just a little more to go...)
0 brady episodes
0 desats
23-25% FIO2 on the nasal cannula, with 1 liter flow
31 CC's of fortified milk (milk, it's what's for dinner [and breakfast,and lunch, and snacks)
2 dirty diaper
5 wet diapers
.5 CC's residuals
