Family, Friends, Prayer Warriors,
We had a slight change of scenery for Jacob today. Because of some routine X-rays both he and Jordan had this week, his routine MRI, immunizations, low hematacrit levels, adjusting to sleeping in a crib, etc., Jacob had to be moved to a open warmer bed for a while. However, after he received a blood transfusion, and good results from his x ray and blood work, he is back on the right progression track. A slight hiccup for him, but he is doing much better.
Jacob's official report for the day:
3 lbs. 12 oz.
4 brady episodes
0 desats
28% FIO2 on the nasal cannula, with 1 liter flow
33 CC's of 24 calorie fortified milk
4 dirty diaper
5 wet diapers
0 CC's residuals
Jordan continues to excel despite her PDA and stenosis issues. And even though Jacob is temporarily not sharing the crib with her and she can stretch out, she better not get too used to it, because her brother will be back there before we know it ;).
Jordan's official report:
4 lbs. 3 oz
21% Room Air, with .5 Liter flow nasal cannula
35 CC's fortified milk
1 dirty diaper
4 wet diapers
0 brady episodes
1 desat
1 CC residuals
daily dose Lasix diuretics
4 times a day of Potassium
Sheri captured a great photo op Friday with the babies...Look!
Two Peas in a Pod
And I caught a photo op with Jordan this afternoon in a vibrating bouncy; it really works wonders when she gets gassy and and starts bearing down. How cute!
And, we have another great addition to our Dream Team! Natalie has worked with the twins in the early days and has joined the Cordova Primary's! We are so excited she will be helping us out!
More as it develops! Thank you for all of your love, prayers and thoughts! More progress reports soon!
Kind regards,
The Cordova Family (Andy, Sheri, Jacob & Jordan)
