It's official! The twins are now 38 weeks; official term age, and are no longer considered preemies!
their daily status for today:
Jacob's official report for the day:
3 lbs. 10 oz.
2 brady episodes
2 desats
21% Room Air on the nasal cannula, with 1 liter flow
32 CC's of fortified milk
3 dirty diaper
5 wet diapers
0 CC's residuals
Jacob is also doing very well with his bottle feedings; so well in fact, that he is now taking 4 bottles a day, and can't get enough! way to go!
Jordan is also really coming along! she is gaining weight even though she is taking her lasix diuretics! that's amazing! our little girl is making such great strides, and she is now on once a day bottles! How great is that?!
Jordan's official report:
4 lbs. 3 oz
21% Room Air, with .25 Liter flow nasal cannula (getting less and less need for the cannula, fabulous!)
33 CC's fortified milk
1 dirty diaper
6 wet diapers
0 brady episodes
0 desat
3 CC residuals
daily dose Lasix diuretics
4 times a day of Potassium
And now with the 2 month marker being official for the twins, the little ones are getting their 2 month immunizations. Don't worry babies, we want to protect you against as much as we can! Don't worry everyone, we had one of our primarys, Melinda, giving the shots to the kiddies. they are in good hands! The immunizations they got were Hepatitis B, Diphtheria, Tetanus, and Haemophilus B.
More as it develops! the power of prayer and God's blessings are truly magnificent!
