Meet the Cordova Twins

The Cordova Twins:

Jordan (pronounced JOR-den, in Biblical & English derived from (yarad) meaning "descend" or "flow down". It is also the name of the river which flows between the countries of Jordan and Israel where Jesus Christ was baptized by John the Baptist).

Jacob (pronounced JAY-kep, in English and Biblical means "holder of the heel" or "supplanter", and (Ya'aqov'el) meaning "may God protect". In the Old Testament, Jacob (later called Israel) was the son of Isaac and Rebecca and the father of the twelve founders of the twelve tribes of Israel. He was born holding his twin brother Esau's heel)

Sheri and I are still looking into getting an additional nightly primary or two for the evenings our nightly primary, Melinda, is unable to work. There are a lot of good candidates who are willing to help, and hopefully we can have new faces on our team real soon to add to the already awesome mix of professionals we have!

Update to Prayer Warriors:

In the March 29, 2010 post, I asked our prayer network to pray for one of the twins' former pod mates, a little girl who was dealing with the beginning stages of NEC. Sheri was updated this evening that it turned out to be a false alarm for the little girl, and now she is doing much better. Praise and thanks to God, and everyone who was praying for this little one!

More as it develops! Thank you for all of your love, prayers and thoughts! More progress reports soon!

Kind regards,

The Cordova Family (Andy, Sheri, Jacob & Jordan)
